On June 28, 2024, members of the TRUSTING project gathered in Leiden for a consortium meeting. The event marked a significant milestone, celebrating one year since the project’s inception. Prof. Iris Sommer, the project coordinator, from the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) opened the meeting with a reflective presentation.
After this, Dr. Sanne Schuite-Koops led a session in which the leaders of different Work Packages presented their updates to the rest of the partners, followed by interesting questions and discussions.
The day also featured a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) workshop led by Dr. Balázs Babarczy and Dr. Balázs Nagy from SYREON, providing insights into the integration of health technologies within the project. Followed by a session on TRUSTING Communications led by Cecilia Angulo from GAMIAN-Europe.
Post-lunch, the Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT) centers convened collaborative discussions, led by Dr. Lucia Bautista Borrego from the University of Zurich (UZH).
The meeting concluded with the General Assembly Meeting. In parallel, a dedicated session focused on brainstorming solutions to overcome challenges identified within the TRUSTING project.
