In October 2025, Amsterdam & Brussels, TRUSTING took part in two of Europe’s leading events on brain and mental health innovation this month: the ECNP Congress 2025 in Amsterdam and Brain Innovation Days 2025 in Brussels.
Showcasing Mental Health Innovation in Europe
Both events brought together scientists, clinicians, innovators, policymakers, and patient representatives who share a common goal: improving mental health care through collaboration and new technologies.
TRUSTING drew strong interest from participants keen to explore how artificial intelligence can support ethical and effective care in psychiatry.
Responsible Use of AI in Psychiatry
At both events, TRUSTING stood out as an example of responsible mental health innovation. The project shows how artificial intelligence can complement clinical judgement rather than replace it. By analysing subtle changes in speech, the system can help detect early signs of relapse.
As a result, clinicians and patients have more time to act and adapt treatment when needed.
Insights from Amsterdam and Brussels
The discussions in Amsterdam and Brussels showed clear enthusiasm for TRUSTING’s approach. Attendees recognised the importance of combining cutting-edge technology with transparency, human oversight, and ethical integrity. Moreover, many highlighted the essential role of trust as the foundation for future digital health progress.

Collaboration for the Future of Mental Health
Across both events, one message stood out clearly: the future of mental health care depends on collaboration.Progress will come when researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and people with lived experience work together to build confidence in digital mental health solutions.
TRUSTING’s participation in these major European gatherings demonstrates its ongoing commitment to open collaboration, ethical research, and community engagement.
The project continues to contribute to Europe’s growing mental health innovation ecosystem.
