TRUSTING Project Presented at Pint of Science Festival in Tromsø

As part of the global Pint of Science festival, Associate Professor and clinical psychologist Sandra Just took the stage in Tromsø to speak about serious mental illness, focusing on signs, stigma, and the essential role of support. During her engaging presentation, Sandra introduced the TRUSTING project, highlighting how AI-powered tools are being developed to support individuals living with conditions such as psychosis.

The TRUSTING project, funded by the EU’s Horizon programme, uses speech-based analysis to predict early signs of psychotic relapse, with the aim of improving timely intervention and personalised mental health care. Events like Pint of Science are crucial for bridging the gap between research and the public, making science accessible and relevant to everyday life.

Sandra reminded attendees that science can only make a difference when shared beyond academia. We thank her for spreading awareness of TRUSTING and advocating for better mental health support through innovation and communication.
