TRUSTING Project Showcased at International Conferences in March 2026

At the end of March 2026, the TRUSTING project gained strong visibility across two major international conferences, reinforcing its role in advancing innovative and trustworthy approaches in mental health research.

From 25–29 March 2026, TRUSTING was represented at the Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS) Conference in Florence. The event connected leading experts in psychosis research, providing an important platform to exchange knowledge and explore emerging scientific developments. TRUSTING contributed to these discussions by highlighting its work on speech-based approaches to better understand and predict relapse in psychosis.

A key moment of the conference was the TRUSTING symposium, titled “Towards Trustworthy and Explainable AI for Speech-Based Relapse Prediction in Psychosis.” The session focused on the development of ethical, transparent, and clinically relevant artificial intelligence tools, emphasising the importance of trust, explainability, and patient-centred innovation in digital mental health.

The project’s presence continued at the 34th European Congress of Psychiatry (EPA 2026), held from 28–31 March 2026. As one of Europe’s leading psychiatry events, the congress provided further opportunities to share insights, connect with stakeholders, and contribute to ongoing discussions on the future of mental health care.

Across both conferences, TRUSTING showcased its interdisciplinary approach, combining clinical expertise, research, and technological innovation to support improved outcomes for people living with psychosis.

Through active participation in international scientific events, TRUSTING continues to strengthen collaboration, increase visibility, and contribute to shaping the future of mental health research and care in Europe.
